Mulch and Sawdust path |
Plant selection plays an integral part in
having a healthy and sustainable garden so plants chosen are
interesting, tough and waterwise. Also very importantly, they
are SUITABLE for the
type of garden style that you desire. And we will always
include a few small trees - Essential in the modern waterwise
garden.
Whether
you'd like a
rustic natural style garden, a casual beach-house style garden,
a higher maintenance cottage style garden, a lush-looking tropical style garden, or a slick contemporary garden
a creative selection of plants with seasonal change will be used to achieve the
look and feel that you desire.

Think Green Landscapes uses
healthy natural local products wherever possible to create a healthy
landscape.
Preference is
shown towards sustainable building materials using mostly local products such
as limestone and locally produced timbers.
We source natural limestone blocks and
paving from
Meteor Stone who operate local
quarries.
In garden beds,
Think Green Landscapes utilises a mixture of manures, lupin |
mulch and chunky
pine bark mulch, woodchips or gravel to create a healthy growing
environment for new plants.
Well-composted manures improve the soil
by adding both nutrients and organic matter to improve both the
water and nutrient holding ability of the soil.
Lupin Mulch is high in nitrogen feeding
the soil as it slowly breaks down. Read more about Lupin Mulch
on the
DSATCO website.
