This project was to revamp an existing garden to create a modern space with interesting foliage plants, and to create a level area in the middle of the garden to replace the previously almost unusable sloping grassed area.

An existing concrete verandah was "decked over" and new steps with a Jarrah railing and stainless steel wire balustrade added.

Deciduous trees and low growing plants were used to preserve and enhance the outlook to the sprawling parkland opposite. Most of these plants have prominent flowers or foliage colour that varies throughout the year to create a garden that changes noticeably with the seasons.

Rendered blockwork and prominent feature panels give the garden a modern contemporary feel while the Jarrah decking and tinted liquid limestone form the ground surfaces to give the garden a good natural grounding.
