Think Green Landscapes offer a comprehensive
garden and landscape design service.
We break down the design process into several stages to keep
you involved in the process and ensure all your needs are being
addressed.
Our design philosophy is to create a waterwise and practical garden
plan specifically designed to suit you and your needs.
We strive to to create
an always-interesting
garden that changes through the
seasons with deciduous trees, vibrant foliage and
seasonal flowering.
Stage 1 - Initial Onsite
Consultation Meeting- One Hour $75
(Extra time $75/hour if requested)
In
the first meeting the designer will visit you at your property and
talk with you about your ideas and desired outcomes. This is a
brainstorming session with a lot of questions, sharing of ideas and listening
to your needs.
A copy of your site
plan is handy in this meeting so that the designer can get a good feel
for the size and spatial dimensions of your home and block layout.
Factors such as functionality, views, building style, aspect,
personal preferences, constraints, opportunities and budget will
all be considered to develop your design needs. If you have
pictures from magazines or books showing a style of garden and the
type of things that you like please bring them along.
You are welcome
to take your own notes during the initial consultation meeting.
A quote for the cost for the final
stage of the Full Landscape Design
will be supplied by email usually within 24hrs of the
initial meeting. This usually ranges
between $750-1500 depending on your requirements and the size &
complexity of
your
project.
Stage 2 - Notes and Rough Concept Plan $150
Our next step after
the initial consultation meeting is to provide a
roughly sketched concept plan (not necessarily to scale) with
notes and recommendations based on your requirements as discussed.
This will give you an overall view of how your garden could be
laid out, but will not include specific planting or materials
information.
To
provide a more accurate concept sketch, a copy your
current site plan/survey can be used to illustrate the concepts
and ideas discussed in the meeting. A site plan will also help to reduce the cost of the final design as
otherwise a comprehensive site measure-up will usually be required.
Usually this can be completed within a week of receiving a site
plan.
Stage 3 - Full
Landscape Design
The
quote for a full landscape design will be provided after the
Initial Consultation Meeting (as described above) and includes:
- Plan drawings at 1:100 scale (or larger) suitable to use to
install the garden
(Able to be supplied as printed hardcopy and/or emailed PDF)
- Detailed
planting plan
- Plant information sheets
- Recommendations for construction materials
- Detail drawings where required.
The plan will generally be suitable for submission to your local
council (if required) though structural engineers approval and/or
drawings may
also be required for some structural elements like retaining walls, pergolas etc.
All prices include GST
