Think Green Landscapes offers a comprehensive In-house
garden and landscape design service. Loretta Kearnan (previously
of Leschenaultia Design) has now joined the Think Green Landscapes
team.
We have a philosophy of
creating a waterwise and practical garden
for you which is always interesting as it changes with the
seasons. Deciduous trees, vibrant foliage and
seasonal flowering are all part of a Think Green Landscape.
Think Green Landscapes
will also build gardens designed by other garden and landscape
designers. Look in the column on the right for details of other landscape designers who's designs we have implemented in the
past.
Think
Green Design Process
We split the meeting and design process into two parts to keep you involved
in the process and to give you an early opportunity for feedback and
changes.
Onsite Meeting
and Rough Concept Plan - $150
In
the first meeting the designer will visit you at your property
and talk with you about your ideas and desired outcomes. This is
a session with a lot of questions, sharing,
listening and clarification of ideas. Expect it to last about an
hour.
If you have pictures from magazines or books showing a style or
features that you like please bring them along!
A
current site plan/survey is very useful at this
stage. It will also help to reduce the cost of the final design as
otherwise a comprehensive site measure-up will usually be required
later on.
|
Factors such as functionality, views, building style, aspect,
personal preferences, constraints, opportunities and budget will
all be considered to develop your design needs.
Usually within a week afterwards, you
will receive a roughly sketched concept plan (not necessarily to scale) with
some ideas and recommendations based on your requirements as
discussed in the meeting. A
quote for completing a detailed landscape design will also be provided at
this stage.
Landscape Design ($ As
Quoted)
The
landscape design package includes plan drawings at 1:100 scale (or
larger) suitable to use to install the garden.
These will generally be suitable for submission to your local
council (if required) though structural engineers approval and/or
drawings may
also be required for some structural elements like retaining walls, patios/pergolas etc.
Other inclusions are a detailed
planting plan (including recommended pot sizes), materials recommendations as well as construction
detail drawings where required.
A
quote for installation by Think Green Landscapes will also be included for your convenience.
A quote for the cost of a full design
package will accompany the Concept Plan. This generally ranges
between $500-1500 depending on the requirements and size of the
project. |
